(UPDATE) Police Arrest Bobrisky Over #30 Million Fraud

The Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, Frank Mba has confirmed the arrest of famous Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

According to Mba, a yet-to-be-identified businesswoman alleged that Bobrisky fraudulently collected the sum of thirty million naira from her.

Meanwhile, Mba further stated that the matter was under investigation adding that Bobrisky has been granted administrative bail because of lockdown.

Mba said, “He (Bobrisky) was arrested, but he has been granted bail; he is no longer in our custody but he is still under investigation. He was arrested on the allegation by a businesswoman that he fraudulently collected N30m from her.

“We had to grant him bail because of the lockdown and we are also mindful of the people we take into custody, but the case is still under investigation.”

You will recall that Everyevery.ng had earlier reported that Bobrisky was on Thursday, May 28 arrested at the Lekki area of Lagos State.
