Manchester United made history with a thrilling 9-0 win over Southhampton in their Old Trafford Stadium to go level on goals with Liverpool and one point behind league leaders Manchester City.
Manchester United are now the first team in Premier League history to win 9-0 twice. They first achieved the feat in 1995 when they destroyed Ipswich Town by the same scoreline.
Also, Southampton made unwanted history as they are the first team in the English Premier League to concede lose 9-0 twice in two seasons. Last season they suffered a 9-0 lose to Leicester City which made them give out their wages to charity for that week.
Tuesday night win saw United remain second on 44 points and are on the same point as leaders Manchester City. Man Utd seems ready for the league this season with their mind-blowing performance, they have not lost an away game for over a year now although they are out of the Champions League, the Europa League is one they are hopeful to grab alongside the English Premier League title.
They are also in the F.A Cup after beating Liverpool 3-2 two weeks back.
