UEFA has banned Slavia Plague defender Ondrej Kudela for 10 matches for “racist behaviour” towards Glen Kamara.

Kamara himself has been banned for three games for his reaction during the incident.

UEFA imposes 10 game ban on Slavia Prague’s Ondrej Kudela

Kudela and Kamara were involved in a brutal clash at the end of a Europa League last 16 second leg match at Ibrox.

Kamara reacted furiously after he was racially abused by Kudela before several players on both sides became involved in confrontations.

An investigation has now ruled that Kudela was guilty of racism, and its Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector had decided to suspend the player for the next “10 UEFA club and representative team competition matches.”

The suspension has been back-dated to the Europa League quarter-final first leg between Slavia and Arsenal, for which Kudela was not selected.

The game ended 1-1 and the defender will now miss the second leg tomorrow.
