American film producer/actor, Tyler Perry showed his selfless generosity once again has he fed 5000 American families in the mood of Thanksgiving in the US.
Perry, who made it into Forbes’ Billionaire list of 2020 has shown his heart of gold once again.
Atlanta was overflowing with gratitude on Sunday, November 22, when Perry and his team took to the streets to give out food boxes and gift cards to help those in need. This pandemic has hit home hard for many and Perry feels it is his duty to help where he can.
Showing his generosity, Tyler Perry studio gave out $25 gift cards as well as canned vegetables to 5000 families. It was a first come, first serve program where the giving stopped at the 5000th family.
With thanksgiving approaching, Tyler Perry announced the giving, “We are excited to announce the #TPSGiving Food Giveaway event on Sunday, November 22nd from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The United States of America thanksgiving day, 2020 will take place on Thursday, 26th November, 2020.
