Two Atletico Madrid Confirms of Their Players have Covid-19
Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid has confirmed that two of their star players have tested positive to coronavirus, according to reports they say their key striker Diego Costa and defender Santiago Arias are all currently isolating themselves after they both tested positive for coronavirus during their summer break.
However, both players are currently not showing any further symptoms of the virus they are both not allowed to participate with Atletico squad, apart from those on international duty, underwent testing on Thursday. With the Spanish La Liga set to resume on the 12th of this month which is just a few days from now all necessary measures needs to be in place to stop the spread.
Atletico Madrid is not in action until the 27th of September when they will play against Granada, although the league will resume on Friday, on the 11th of September while the English Premier League resumes on the 12th of September.
