Twitter Users Celebrate Actor, Taiwo Hassan, a.k.a Ogogo
One of the top trends on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday, June 28 was about Veteran Nollywood actor, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo as many of the app users saluted his acting skills on the platform.
Twitter users celebrated him after a comedy skit featuring famous skit maker, Mr macaroni, officer Woos, Nollywood actor, Sunny Ali and some others went viral on the internet.
In the viral comedy skit, Ogogo played the role of a senior police officer and a friend to Mr macaroni.
Commenting on how Ogogo acted in the skit, many of the app users noted that he has proven himself to be a talented actor and legend in the movie industry given how he delivered his role in the skit.
Others described him as a professional and a highly respected actor whose acting career has spanned over many decades.
In a post on his Twitter handle, Mr macaroni, who featured Ogogo in the skit expressed delight over how Twitter users celebrated the Nollywood star.
“Gives me great joy to see that the legendary Ogogo is trending on here. Top-notch performance! Same with Prince Jide Kosoko about some weeks ago.” Mr macaroni tweeted.
He further stated that the likes of Ogogo, Jide Kosoko and many others were the source of inspiration to him while growing up and even till now adding that it was a privilege to have worked with them.
Ogogo is an actor, producer and director, born in Ilaro, Ogun state on October 31, 1959, He played a lead role in the Award-winning movie titled Owo blow which was released in 1998.
During an interview a few months ago, the actor revealed that he doesn’t like romantic roles noting that he has limitations if he has to play such a role in movies.
The actor revealed that he has never kissed a woman in any movie given how his wife and children would feel if they always see him kissing other women in a movie.
