A Twitter user has come hard on music artists, Burnaboy and Naira Marley by labelling audio activists. He blamed them for joining in protests despite showing their fierceness behind the camera.
The Twitter user identified as Kaye Vuitton responds to a tweet by controversial artist, Naira Marley. The ‘Soapy’ crooner stated that Nigerians only stage their protest on internet.
His tweet reads, ”In this country we love protesting on Twitter. That’s the problem”
This got the Twitter user to drag Burnaboy and Naira Marley in his reply.
He wrote ”you and @burnaboy are always saying things like this and insulting young Nigerians, yet both of you are chilling with weed and women in your mansions and not leading or mobilizing.
”You both are the real audio activists” he added.
This comes after self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’, Burnaboy rejected calls by activist, Yele Sowore to join in a peaceful protest against the Nigerian government despite being tagged a ‘Revolutionary‘ artist like Fela.
The music star despite speaking the ills of government in his songs and on social media claimed he is not Fela and should be left alone.
