Several Twitter users have taken to the social media platform to mourn the gruesome murder of a Tech entrepreneur and the CEO of former bike hailing app, Gokada, Fahim Saleh who was found dead and dismembered in his New York home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
Taking to the social media platform, many users described late Fahim as a hardworking and passionate young entrepreneur.
Others described the news about his murder as very disturbing and suspicious as some Twitter users uploaded a video of when he was talking about his passion for his business.
It was reported that his headless and dismembered body was discovered by his sister inside his luxury Lower East Side apartment which he bought in 2019.
His sister visited and found him headless while his body had been cut up and sorted into different plastic bags and a power saw which was still plugged in was also found in the apartment.
Meanwhile, Elevator surveillance camera may have caught the victim’s last moments, It shows the victim getting into the elevator, followed quickly by a second man, dressed in a suit, wearing gloves, a hat and a mask over his face.
However, the spokesman for the New York Police Department, Sergeant Carlos Nieves noted that the murder was carried out by a professional because of how the attack happened.
The late Saleh is well known in Lagos, Nigeria where he helped launch Gokada, the former bike hailing company that has turned into delivery services following the government’s ban on passenger motorcycles.
Before his investment in Nigeria, he had found success with a logistic company called Pathao in Bangladesh.
Just like Gokada, Pathao also started as a bike hailing service before it pivoted into a logistic company.
He once told Tech Cabal that he had some money and decided to go to Nigeria to try the biking business out to see if there was a future in motorcycle ride-sharing transport in Lagos State.
