Tunde Buraimoh died early Friday morning after battling brief illness

Tunde Buraimoh, a lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly is dead.
Reports gathered that he died in the early hours of Friday, July 10, at the age of 60.

Buraimoh, the Lagos House of Assembly‘s spokeperson had not been to the Assembly’s complex for about two weeks.

The deceased was born 30th September 1960.He attended the Ogun State university Ago Iwoye were he graduated with a law degree (LL. B Hons) in 1988.
An addition to his academic achievements is his Ph.d [Honoris Causa] from Bradley University U.S.A

Late Tunde Buraimoh was the Kosofe Local Government Chairman between 1999-2002 and the Bamofin of Ketuland.

He was  the Chairman of Lagos House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security.
He was also a recipient of the Fame Magazine’s Best Local Government Chairman award in 2001

He was reelected for his second term as a lawmaker on March, 9.

Another colleague the representative Ojo Constituency I, Victor Akande, confirmed his death saying,
“It is true that we lost Tunde Braimoh, I could not sleep since 1 am when I learnt about his demise, he is one of those who never toyed with his health.”

Tunde Balogun, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State made a statement on his demise but couldn’t give any information on the lawmaker’s death.

Taiwo Fadipe, Chief Press Secretary to the Kosofe Local Government Chairman said Buraimoh died after a brief illness.
“He died at a hospital around Ikorodu road. He died overnight.” Taiwo stated.
