Trump’s Campaign Manager Test Positive To COVID-19

A few hours after President Donald Trump announced that he and his wife tested positive to COVID-19, a senior official has confirmed that his campaign manager, Bill Stepien has tested positive to the virus.

According to the official, Stepien, who received the results of the test on Friday night is suffering from mild flu-like symptoms.

It was gathered that Stepien was with the President and his team in Cleveland when he went for the first presidential debate and was seen close to Hope Hicks, the President’s top aide who also tested positive.

Stepien was among a group of senior Trump campaign staffers who were tested, but he is the only one whose results came back positive so far as Deputy Campaign Manager, Justin Clark tested negative to the virus.

He also attended debate prep sessions with former White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway, who also announced on Friday that she had tested positive.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, no fewer than seven Republican politicians and close Trump confidants had announced they too had tested positive for COVID-19.
