Lucas Torreira has made his desire to quit Arsenal this summer clear and he is desperate to join AC Milan.
The Uruguayan is one of the players that has been linked with a move away during the summer. He has attracted interest from clubs like AC Milan.
The 23-year-old arrived just 12 months ago from Italian club Sampdoria. He has been impressive with performances in the Premier League, so much so that Milan are making a real attempt to take him back to Serie A.
Milan has been tracking the midfielder all summer, though they are yet to meet the Gunners valuation. The Italians are alleged to be preparing an offer in the region of £35m. They appear set on bringing the Torreira to the San Siro as they push for a Champions League return.
Reports in Italy claim that the Serie A club is ready to offer a swap deal to Arsenal chiefs involving Kessie arriving at the Emirates Stadium. The report suggests that Milan value Kessie at over £30m and would prefer a straight player-for-player swap. Although they may be willing to throw some money into the equation too. 22-year-old Kessie played 34 Serie A games during last season scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
The Londoners stand to make a sizeable profit on the man they signed in a £26m deal from Serie A side Sampdoria last July. The club will allow Lucas Torreira to leave if they receive a bid of £45m.
