Nigerian popular gospel musician, Tope Alabi has joined other Nigerians to pay tribute to Mrs Ibidunni Ighodalo who passed away recently.
Ibidunni Ighodalo was the wife of popular Lagos preacher, Ituah Ighodalo. The beauty queen was said to die after having cardiac arrest in an hotel room in Port Harcourt where she was executing a project.
The late Ibidunni Ighodalo owns a foundation which gives grants to couples and helps those who needs IVF to have children. The pastors wife had to adopt 2 children after having several failures with IVF.
Her death has been mourned by well meaning Nigerians among which is Pastor E.A Adeboye, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Oby Ezekwesili, and many more.
Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi has paid her tribute to Mrs Ibidunni Ighodalo who death took away few weeks to her 40th birthday.
With sadness of heart, the singer expressed her feelings for the deceased. She paid her tribute by singing in her popular Yoruba language.
In her lyrics translated in English, ‘‘A legend is gone. Tears are flowing. Your loved ones are weeping. We didn’t want you to leave. I wish I could invite you for a sumptuous meal. We didn’t want you to leave. We never thought we could sing a dirge so soon. We didn’t want you to leave”
We just have to say RIP to the lost soul.
