Christmas is in the air and many Nigerians as usual are making plans to travel to their villages for the season. To some, this is a little bit outrageous, to some others, it is a must to go back home at this time. And then to a few others, they are indifferent. However, the various opinions do not deter the ones with their minds set on traveling to their hometowns this season.

Well, today we are focusing on the ones who are not sure about traveling to the village this Christmas. Normally, the people who value this movement are mostly Christians from the Eastern part of Nigeria. They do not entertain any excuses for not going home during the Christmas season. Because of the number of people available at this time of the year, lots of events and celebrations are reserved for this season also.

Family is not made by blood but blood makes us family.  Research has shown that 80% of people on their death bed always wished they spent more time with their family. Do not argue if it is nuclear or extended family, family is family, far or near.

Going to your home town will not only avail you the chance to spend time with your family, it will give you the time to know them.
