Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics are on the way and organizers have announced this Thursday that a portal detailing timings for Olympic events, and they prepare to throw open ticket application via lottery for Japanese residents.
The new website lists prices for the recored 339 events in 33 sports ranging from the general cheapest ticket at $22 to $2,500 for the best seats in the opening ceremony.
Those lucky enough o score the best seats for the showcase men’s 100 meter final will pay $1,200.
However, half the tickets will be priced at $70 or less. The organizers stressed and special tickets priced at $180 are available for families residents in Japan with children, senior citizens or people with impairments.
Overseas fans will be able to get tickets from June 15 via special “Authorized Ticket Resellers” in each country.

The precise number of tickets for sale has not be specified s various stadium configurations are still being finalized with just less that 500 days to go until the opening ceremony.
But there is a rough estimate of about 7.8 million tickets they estimated when bidding for the right to host the Games.
An estimated 70-80% would be allotted to Japanese residents with the rest going to overseas fans.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympics will run from July 24 to August 9th. Tickets for the Paralympics will be available later in the summer.
