The Nigerian radio personality and actress Toke Makinwa is set to host a new TV show after the 12th season of ‘The Gulder Ultimate Search’ ends.
The host of the GUS season 12 revealed her plans to remain on TV after her current show comes to an end.
The actress and entrepreneur revealed the new TV talk show would premiere on Friday, November 19, 2021, on MultiChoice’s pan-African channel, HONEY.
The show tagged ‘Talk With Toke Makinwa’ will involve a sit down intimate conversation with some of Africa’s biggest celebrities.
She said, “I am so thrilled! I have always wanted to have a global television show.”
“It’s been part of my dream, the bigger picture, and HONEY has just given me that opportunity. I look forward to it,” she added.
Toke Makinwa further reiterated that the interviews would reveal the celebrities’ controversies and triumphs and allow them to speak their truth.
Season one of the one-hour-long show will see the likes of Bobrisky, Zari “The Boss Lady”, and Mutale Mwanza be the first set of guests on the show.
