Tinubu’s Ambition: Arguments Ensue Between APC, PDP Loyals

Following Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s declaration to contest in the 2023 Presidential Election, some party loyals have been engaged in some heated arguments over the possibility of the former Governor of Lagos State emerging as the President of Nigeria.

Henry Ochai, a public servant, noted that the Members of the PeoplesDemocraticParty, PDP, said they should worry about who their party selects as the flag bearer and stop worrying over Tinubu’s ambition.

Another committed supporter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Christian Agu, a public analyst, said PDP members are worrying because their candidate is borne of defeat in reality, adding that ‘Nobody in their camp that can even contest against ASIWAJU, much less, talk of defeating him.’

Meanwhile, Mr Mike Atim, an strong stalwart of the PDP said Asiwaju built careers for Politicians but among them, several are already divided.

He stressed that Tinubu doesn’t have electorates influence to canvass for votes and might resort to rigging. “We, the neutral and genuine Nigerians are his structure. We don’t want any money bag who feels he can bankroll even the dead.”

“Meanwhile, we are only sympathising with APC by suggesting Osinbajo/Zulum as ur best for now” He said.

Party Stalwart Points Out Tinubu’s Strategy

Replying, Agu, APC supporter, said the division is the most crucial political ingredients as interest festers and the same interest will still unite them. “If not ASIWAJU, who else?” He asked.
