Nigeria and its citizens are under immense pressure to select among the top Presidential Candidates running for the 2023 General Elections.
Top on Nigerians’ lists is Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT of the All Progressives Congress and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Debates on social media, precisely Twitter, shows that many tweeps are against BAT, but mostly exercise their dislikes online and not by physically casting their votes during election periods.
Secondly, Obi, almost everybody’s favourite, is believed to be the next saviour of the country’s economy and masses from poverty and insecurity.
Thirdly, sceptics are with PDP’s Presidential Candidates. Observations show that people who are neither in support of Obi nor Ashiwaju opted for Atiku for reasons not far-fetched.
However, from all the discussions monitored on the microblogging platform, the lesson learnt is for people to go and obtain their voter’s cards to avoid blaming others.
