Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, will no longer be celebrating his birthday as planned to initially hold at the 13th Colloquium to mark his 70th birthday.
The cancellation is due to the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on Monday by terrorists who reportedly caused the death of seven passengers thus far as several others are still receiving treatment in hospitals in the state.
It was learnt that Ashiwaju Tinubu made the announcement immediately after the event started at Eko Hotel and Suites, where solid plans were already intact to have the celebration at full steam.

The APC leader who was also a former Lagos State Governor, said he was just being informed of the train attack after being involved in prayer sessions since the early hours of the morning on Monday.
As at the time of filing this report, there was no update on whether the ruling party leader would fix another date for the event or continue to use the day to honour the lives of those that met their unfortunate end during the tragic attack.
