Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Christian Pulisic and the club’s skipper Cesar Azpilicueta will miss the Blues’ Champions League second-leg round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich after picking up hamstring injuries. Azpilicueta and Pulisic limped off during Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat by Arsenal in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The Spanish defender walked off just moments after giving away a penalty against Arsenal following a foul on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang while Pulisic who opened the securing for Chelsea also picked up an injury as well. Chelsea will be travelling to German on the 8th of August to play their second leg of the Uefa Champions League tie which Bayern is winning on aggregate 3-0.
