Three (3) first team Alaves players test positive Coronavirus

Alaves has reportedly announced that three of their first team players has tested positive to the coronavirus. The Spanish outfit, who are currently in 14th place in LaLiga table before the Covid-19 outbreak halted league action. They confirmed that seven members of coaching staff and five workers at the club has also contracted the virus.

They also have a basketball team but it is recorded that none of the Saski Baskonia basketball team, which form part of the Alaves-Baskonia Group, tested positive for coronavirus. The team management released a statement on their official website which says: “Coronavirus tests carried out in the last hours in the Alaves-Baskonia Group already have the results.”

“A total of 15 people have tested positive, three of them belonging to Deportivo Alaves’ first team, seven more to the Albiazul coaching staff and none to the KIROLBET Baskonia team. Therefore, five workers have also been affected.”

The management took the decision to carry out the tests on also the family members of the affected people as it is their responsibility. The virus which is now a global pandermic entered the world from China and it is killed thousands already.

Footballers have been donating money to help savage the situation on ground with, Ibrahimovich, Paul Pogba, Lewendoski among others have donated money to help fight the virus.
