Colchester United vs Tottenham Hotspurs

Spurs will be hosted by Colchester at the JobServe Community Stadium this evening in the English Football League Cup. League Two side Colchester United are in top form presently following their back to back victory in the League Two. They won Swindon Town and Leyton Orient and knocked Crystal Palace out on penalties in the previous round. Can they claim yet another major win against Mauro Pochettino’s side who is struggling with a form?

Spurs lost away to Leicester City in the weekend after a 2-2 draw in the Champions League. Tottenham is desperate to come back to winning ways and we are sure they will fight tooth and nail win. The last time the two teams met in the FA Cup three years ago Tottenham won 4-1

Prediction: Away and Over 1.5

Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest

Arsenal came from behind to beat Aston Villa in their last league match 3-2. Gunners will be hoping to book their place in the League Cup at the expense of Nottingham Forest at their Emirates Stadium. Unai Emery is likely to use the match to encourage his youth team and rest major player for EPL match next week.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest will aim to build on back-to-back wins over Swansea City and Barnsley. Beating Arsenal at Emirates Stadium is really going to be tough. The last meeting in a competitive match Forest outplayed the Gunners 4-2.

Prediction:  G – G

Crawley Town vs Stoke City

Crawley did well to beat Norwich City in the previous round of the Carabao Cup. They are determined to claim yet another major win in the Carabao Cup. The Potters have a very slow start to the new Championship season, sitting in the 23rd position. They have only two points from eight matches. Stoke City will be out to regain much-needed confidence in the clash.

Prediction: Over 1.5

Luton Town vs Leicester City

Leicester City showed character in their last league match, with the team coming from behind to beat Tottenham at their King Power Stadium. The Foxes regained their confidence with away loss to Manchester United.

Leicester City looks ready to give their fans another celebration song as they will win the home side. Luton Town failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to the likes of QPR and Hull City, which is yet another reason why EverySport will pick the visitors over the home side. Their last encounter ended 1-1 draw

Prediction: Away Win Either Half

Portsmouth vs Southampton

Portsmouth plays host to Southampton at their Fratton Park in the Carabao Cup last 32 round. The Pompey have won just one game in their last seven games in the League One. Southampton is desperate to bounce back from a 3-1 home loss to Bournemouth. The Saints have been having their ups and downs in the new Premier League season, but they are definitely capable of beating Portsmouth. Southampton had earlier beaten Fulham on the road in their League Cup opener,

Prediction: Away Win or Over 2.5

Preston vs Manchester City

After a remarkable come back in the EPL last weekend; beating Watford 8-0, Citizens will be hosted by Preston in the League Cup last 32 on Tuesday evening. The Citizens have been scoring goals for fun in all competitions this season. We expect similar result although Pep Guardiola won’t be using his best players.

Brazilian international, Gabriel Jesus, is likely to be recalled to the starting line-up giving the home defenders lots work to do. The Lilywhites have been in a fine form in the English top-flight of late, but Man City are likely to pose a much bigger threat. In their last meeting in a competitive match, the Citizens emerged triumphant (3-1).

Prediction: Away Win and Over 2.5

Sheffield Wednesday vs Everton

Sheffield Wednesday and Everton face each other at Hillsborough Stadium in the League Cup last 32. The Owls are a tough side to beat at home and they aim to take advantage of Everton’s unstable form. The Toffees lost at home to Sheffield United in their last league match 0-2.

The match, no doubts, will be full of expectations we won’t be surprised if both teams scores. EverySport will be predicting based on both team teams league performance. To be on the safer side, we will go with goals options.

Prediction: Over 1.5 or X

Watford vs Swansea

The Hornets aim to bounce back from a heavy 8-0 loss to Manchester City and, are eager to give their fans second win of the season. Watford started their Carabao Cup campaign with a 3-0 win over Coventry City and are ready to do it again.

Quique Sanchez Flores is likely to mix the squad against Swansea City, to ensure no mistakes. The Swans made a flying start to their Championship campaign, with 17 points from eight games. The visitors look good and the home side is not willing to give another home defeat again.

Prediction: G – G
