TGIF: 5 New Naija Songs to Groove Up Your Weekend

Share

Yaay! Thank God it’s Friday.

It’s weekend again. Depending on what fun entails for you, there are a number of things you might want to do for your own relaxation starting from when you close from work today. Well, if you enjoy clubbing or bopping to music in your car, or you just like to dance (or twerk) horribly when no one is watching, so long your fun involves music, this is for you.

This is a list of 5 new Naija songs that can help your weekend come alive:

Yemi Alade – “Bounce”

Yemi Alade, aka Mama Africa is on this one. You can dance to this in the club or twerk to it in the privacy of your closet. Lol. Either way, bounce.

Naira Marley – “Opotoyi”

Since he was granted bail a few weeks ago, without as little as making a public comment, he has released a number of songs. If you’re “judgy” enough to not listen, you can dance zanku to this.

Falz – “Alakori” ft. Dice Ailes

“Alakori”, a humorous but satirical song, is perfect if you like to sing along to such. The signature mock-accent Falz uses in the song is an icing on the cake. And oh, you’ll love Dice Ailes take on the hook.

Kizz Daniel – “Eko”

This song is barely one week old .While it is a song about Lagos, it is something enjoyable you can slowly move your body to without any pressure whatsoever to actually dance. If you love Lagos like Kizz, even better for you.

Mayorkun – “True” ft.  Kizz Daniel

Mayorkun

“True” is a love song you should dance to. Mayorkun and Kizz Daniel are a good pair. You should be able to sing and dance to it at home and in the club.

Have fun this weekend.
