Taylor Swift has a few regrets over how she handled her very public breakup with ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas.
Taylor Swift did her first Ellen DeGeneres Show appearance in years this week. Ellen got her to talk about her favorite movie (Someone Great on Netflix, but that’s only of movies she watched in the last week), whether she washes her legs in the shower, if she had anything to do with Avengers: Endgame and many more topics. Though, unexpectedly, her boyfriend Joe Alwyn was not one of them.
But the most surprising confession DeGeneres got from Swift was her regrets on the way she treated her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas when she was on the Ellen show before.
“Probably when I like, put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much. Yeah, that was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy. Just teenage stuff there.”
Taylor and Joe dated for several months in 2008, and when they broke up, she wasn’t shy about calling him out for how badly he hurt her.Taylor admitted during a 2008 interview with Ellen.
“We haven’t talked since the breakup, actually. But someday I’m going to find somebody really, really great who’s right for me. It’s alright, I’m cool. When I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. And when I look at that person, I won’t even be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18! It was a record, I think. I looked at the call log, I think it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record!”
