A suspected motorcycle thief was tragically k!lled while attempting to escape a mob in Gawu, located in the Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The incident unfolded on Wednesday around 4:12 PM when the suspect allegedly stole a motorcycle from a farm in Mawogi village.

According to a witness, Danlami Ibrahim, the owner of the stolen motorcycle raised an alarm, prompting nearby youths to pursue the suspect as he tried to flee on the bike. Ibrahim recounted, “As he approached Gawu village, he crossed the expressway without precaution and was run over by a vehicle.”
