Supernatural Finally Ending After 15 Years.

Share

One of the longest running horror TV show all of time is coming to an end after it’s 15th season. Supernatural was created by Eric Krikpe in 2005. It follows the adventures of two brothers Sam(Jared Padelecki) and Dean(Jensen Ackles) Winchester. Hunters, who were groomed by their father to carry on with the family business  “Hunting monsters and killing things. Shuttling between cities in their immortal 1967 Chevy Impala.

They made the announcement on the 22nd of March 2019 via Jensen Ackle’s Instagram account with a video of him discussing with his ” TV brother” and Misha Collins, the weird angel guy.

From Jensen Tackles Instagram handle:

“Well, it’s official. One more round for the Winchester brothers. Though nothing ever really ends in Supernatural…does it?” Ackles typed out in the caption of the clip, punctuating the caption with a winking emoji.

In the video itself, He said, “We just told the crew that even though we’re very excited to be moving into our 15th season, it will be our last. Fifteen years of a show that has certainly changed my life, I know it’s changed these two guys’ lives, and we just wanted you to here from us that though we’re excited about next year, it will be the finale.”

Proper Send- off

The show runners promised not to leave any loose ends and give the characters the send off they deserve. No tangible reason was provided for ending the show, it came as a shock of the fans of the show because years back Eric Krikpe stated that Supernatural may reach a season 19.

The actors probably want to explore other casting options but I doubt they would be able to shake-off their supernatural stench. I still refer to Chris Evans as Captain America no matter what movie or tv show he’s in.  Notwithstanding, 15 seasons is very impressive because the show has had its ups and downs but still managed to keep its loyal fans over the years
