A few days after Chidinma Ojukwu denied her earlier confession to killing Usifo Ataga, the Super TV CEO, the Lagos State police command had fingered more suspects in the death of the late CEO.
While parading some suspects, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, noted that aside from Chidinma, the Police had arrested more suspects in connection with the murder of Ataga.
Odumosu said Chidinma initially was the only suspect, but now, the Police had arrested additional suspects; according to the Police Boss, the investigation into Chidinma’s case is progressing.
He further dismissed the insinuation that the Police want to sweep the case under the carpet, adding that the Police have been able to establish conspiracy in the case. Meanwhile, Odumosu opined that the fundamental human rights of the suspects still exist under the constitution.
Earlier, Odumosu had described the new claims made by Chidinma as an afterthought. He insisted that the Police have the suspect on tape during her confession.
According to him, Chidinma’s new confession is the trait of an active criminal, adding that the Police recorded Chidinma at the state CIID.
You will recall that EveryEvery.ng had reported that Chidinma made a shocking U-Turn as she denied her previous confessions a few weeks after confessing that she killed Ataga.
In a new video, Chidinma claimed that Ataga had issues with his wife, noting that his children were why he stayed in the marriage before his demise. The suspect revealed that the Super TV CEO did not enjoy his marriage.

The prime suspect denied having a link with the murder of Ataga, adding that it seemed someone broke into the apartment where the incident happened. Chidinma explained that she met the apartment disarranged and noticed a bloodstain with loud music in the room.
