Super Eagles Star Suffers Rejection From German Club side
Super Eagles star Chinedu Obasi sadly will continue his search for a new club following his failure to get a contract at his German former side TSG Hoffenheim. The 34-year-old Super Eagles star has been training with the Bundesliga outfit with the hope of securing a contract.
Chinedu Obasi has been with the German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim for six years now, he played for them between 2007 and 2012. Hoffenheim’s manager, Alex Rosen, has made it known that the versatile former Super Eagles star will not be with the club next season. According to him he said: “He will not play a role for us for the new season,” Rosen also said: “He is now 34 and hasn’t played for a long time.”
“We can support him as we have done so far or through advanced training with the U23s, we will be very happy to do so for this wonderful player and person.” he added. Chinedu Obasi will now be without club in German till he gets interest from any club side. The Germany Bundsliga has very few games left to complete the season and he has just until the end of the season to get a new club.
The German Bundesliga is the only club in Europe amnong the five top European clubs to have resumed their league.
