Super Eagles Made a Sweet Revenge Against CAR

Maduka Okoye returned to the starting eleven as Super Eagles made perfect revenge against the Central Republic of Africa in Cameroon. Nigeria was able to retain its top place position in Group C while the Central African Republic remain in third place.

Super Eagles Beat Central African Republic

Recalled the Super Eagles of Nigeria loss at home to the Central African Republic in Teslim Balogun stadium. Nigeria opened the scoring through Leon Balogun who made a mistake in the first leg.

The former Brighton defender tapped in the goal from Simon Moses cross in the first 30 minutes of the game. Napoli star Victor Osimhen doubled the lead in the last minute of the first half.

Gernot Rohr used Chidozie Awaziem, Leon Balogun and William Troost-Ekong will feature in central defence, while Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins will play as the two centre-backs.

Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo and Kelechi Iheanacho will operate in midfield.
