Famous activist and philanthropist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho has reacted to the directive allegedly issued by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Reacting to the directive, Igboho said the Fulani herders could not threaten the Yoruba people to abandon their land.
“You can’t chase us away from our land if you think we will run away it’s a joke.”
He had earlier expressed concerns that the federal government did not order the Inspector General of Police to find and arrest the killer of the people kidnapped at Ibarapa Oyo state.
“Fg did not order the Inspector general of Police to find and arrest the killer of Dr Aborode, Oko Oloyu and other prominent Yoruba elites kidnapped at Ibarapa Oyo state, but they are planning to arrest me. Let’s see how it goes,” he said
Everyevery.ng had reported that two police sources have revealed that President Buhari has ordered that Police use lethal force against Sunday Igboho and his supporters (read more here).
