Spiff Announces His Exit From The Johnsons’ TV Series

Nigerian actor, Sam Ajibola who is popularly known by a role as Spiff announces his exit from the long-running Africa Magic series, The Johnsons.

 The actor made a video thanking Multichoice for the opportunity and pledging his loyalty to the brand. He also thanked his fans for loving and supporting him in his 10 years of being on the show.

He said in the video;

“For about 10 years now, I have sacrificed my time, dedicated my life as well as all the God-given creativity within me to serving the Spiff character on the Johnsons’ Television series which undoubtedly for me, has fulfilled its purpose in bringing entertainment, happiness, and joy to the African continent as well as bringing therapeutic healings to the body and minds of people from several testimonies I’ve heard but as we all know, nothing lasts forever. Everything that has a beginning surely has an end and as tough as this decision has been for me in the past few years, the time has actually come for me to move on and grow.”

Ajibola mentioned that he was not leaving acting but was only looking to make out time to express his creativity through other channels too.

Samuel Ajibola’s first advent into the world of acting was as a child actor in an Opa William production titled ‘Tears of Love’ before joining the cast of the Johnsons series in 2012. He also recently tied the knot with the love of his life, Sandra Adanna in December 2020.
