Soldier and lady
A video captured by a passer-by and shared on social media shows a lady being dealt with by a soldier.
The soldier was seen using a belt to beat a woman for ‘indecent’ dressing in Beere community of Ibadan, Oyo state.
Some of the passers-by were also seen on their knees while the soldier man cut their hair with scissors.
The lady was made to sit on the ground and was lashed with a whip. She got more strikes as she used her hand to block her buttocks
She stated that she didn’t know her offence as the soldier continues with the flogging. Reports however say she was dealt with because of her dressing.
One of the men who had his hair cut said he was just passing by when he was ordered to kneel. He insisted he’s not ‘yahoo boy’ and didn’t know his offence to be punished.
He also claimed that he was extorted by the soldier after all that was done to him.
Report says residence of the area now live in fear due to the men in ‘khakhi‘ uniform.
Meanwhile in some parts of the country where there have been curfew, soldiers have been seen doing worse to people.
