United put up another disappointing display on Saturday, going down 4-0 at Brighton which puts their Europa League hope in a worry. The result killed every hope of the Red Devils making it to the Champions League next season as they now battle for a place in the Europa League or the Conference League.
Despite the woeful season, the Portuguese star has shown himself as he has 24 goals in 34 appearances for the club. But the 37-year-old has faced criticism over his performances and has been accused of not doing enough to support United’s attack. Ronaldo’s return to Old was hugely influenced by Sir Alex Ferguson and he has come again to beg the player to remain in the club as young players will learn a lot from him.
