May D involved in fire accident
It’s not a pleasant news as popular Nigerian singer, Akinmayokun Awodumila, better known as May D has been involved in a fire accident that got him hospitalised.
The ‘Ile IJo’ crooner suffered leg injuries in the fire accident that occured in his house.
He took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 7, 2021, where he shared photos of the injuries he sustained after the fire incident.
The singer wrote, “Hey Guys, please put me in your prayers. There was a fire incident in my house and my legs got burnt“
The pictures shared from his hospital bed reveals the extent of the fire accident as he was seen in bandages as well as scars being revealed.
May D made his name while he was signed to Psquare’s record label, Square Records which he left in August, 2012 in an official announcement.
The singer/dancer is currently signed to Davido’s Music Worldwide (DMW) record label. He made the announcement on Twitter on the 18th of July, 2020.
