Nigerian singer Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka has taken to social media to apologize to Nigerians after he labelled ‘easterners’ to which he belongs ‘primitive’.
The sonorous song took to Twitter to tag those that travel home for Christmas celebration, especially the Igbo clan, primitive.
Not long after he took to his Twitter page to condemn the culture of Igbos in different parts of the country, travelling to the East for Christmas, quite a number of Nigerians have lambasted him for his comment.
Moments afterwards, the ‘If You No Love Me‘ crooner deleted the tweet and publicly apologized for his action.
He also gave the reason for making such a tweet, stating that he lost two friends who were returning from the east in an accident this morning, and his tweet was borne from a place of grief.
Meanwhile, Chike was in the news a few days ago for searching for a mystery lady who attended an event where he performed.
The lady surfaced on Twitter as the singer has called on the microblogging app to help search for the beautiful lady.
