Share

Old Trafford will welcome former manager Jose Mourinho in the EPL December midweek games. Jose Mourinho returns to Manchester United after almost a year. He will be coming with his play his third EPL game as a Spurs manager. Tottenham new boss Jose Mourinho comes with his troops with hope of extending his unbeaten run with Spurs to four in the EPL.

Jose Mourinho took over from Mauricio Pochettino on 19th of November, 2019. Since he took over from the Argentine he is yet to drop or loss any match in both the Champions league and EPL. On the other hand, his old club are still struggling with form in the hands of Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer. Mourinho will be preparing to meet a United side that have won just four games this season. They are placed in 10th position in the league table.

Brand New Mourinho

Sources at Tottenham say Mourinho has changed very little thus far. He occasionally stays in the overnight accommodation at Spurs’ training ground all by himself. The players in Spurs are on the opinion that Mourinho has really changed for good. Him Praising a ball boy for helping them win in their Champions League match against Olympiakos on 26 November is something strange.

Also, he invited the boy into the home dressing room for Saturday’s victory against Bournemouth, is  unlike him. Like he said in his first press conference “I will make new mistakes” he is set to rewrite all his bad stories we believe. So, who has benefited most from Mourinho’s United exit? United or Spurs players?

Dele Ali recent form could be linked to the Portuguese, in his first training section he asked Dele are you Dele or his brother? I am Dele then, play like Dele that like chat has boosted the morale of the England midfielder and it seen his game since Mourinho arrived.

The First Three wins are Normal

Mourinho could not have done more than win his first three competitive games. Comfortable triumphs over West Ham and Bournemouth, plus a thriller against Olympiakos. Spin back to the start of his United reign. Comfortable Premier League wins against Bournemouth and Southampton, followed by a last-minute Marcus Rashford winner at Hull.

But the problem for his successor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is that – after an initial surge – United have regressed under his management. Sunday’s home draw with Aston Villa leaves them 10th, with four wins and 18 points from their opening 14 games. In order to reach the 26 from 17 that wasn’t enough to save Mourinho’s job at Old Trafford a year ago. Solskjaer needs to win his next three games, which includes Saturday’s derby trip to Manchester City.

Mourinho is Always Welcome to Old Trafford

Even though Ole has the support of the management and the players he really need to step up his game with his troops. The manager has relied so much on the young players due to injury in his senior team squad. Injured Paul Pogba won be in action in the Old Trafford show down. McTommy and Namaja Matic are all back to the training and are likely to feature in today’s game.

Ole said he is not disturbed with the rumures of him being sacked if he should today’s game and the Manchester derby. But for the mean time he says Jose Mourinho will be warmly received in the Old Trafford, the fans really like him he added. He adviced the fans to keep supporting the team and players, for even he himself is not really pleased with the result so far.
