An outspoken former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, yesterday, revealed the identities of two of the suspected brains behind the recent abductions in Kaduna State.

Without fear or favour, Senator Sani mentioned the names of the masterminds to include Dogo Sani and his counterpart, Baleri.

The bold Senator confirmed that the recent kidnappings of students, babies and women from different locations in the State were engineered by the two persons mentioned above while urging the Government to move swiftly and apprehend the perpetrators.

On Facebook, Sani posted a message urging Nigerians to pray for parents whose offsprings are in the hands of kidnappers in the forests.

His words, “While your Children woke up today in peace and now in their schools, the Children of some are in the hands of Bandits and terrorists. Let’s pray and keep in mind the Children of The Bethel Baptist High School Kaduna, the Islamic school pupils of Tegina Niger State, the students of the FGC Yauri, Kebbi state and those of the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria.”

Recall that the former federal lawmaker represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly.

Senator Shehu Sani’s revelations were based on events that transpired recently in Kaduna, where armed bandits kidnapped babies, nurses on duty, and security guards from the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre, NTLC.

According to reports making the rounds, the bandits stormed the area from a nearby forest, engaging police officers in a gun battle before escaping with the abductees.

To the knowledge of the police, the Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, informed the media group that Nigerian troops had intensified efforts to rescue the victims.

The abduction happened at Saye District in the outskirts of Zaria, a place close to the notorious Sabon Birni, Galadima and Malu Forests.
