Shatta Wale Makes U-turn, Declares Respect for Nigerians

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, popularly known as Shatta Wale has quenched his beef With Nigerians. 

The artiste has been at loggerheads with Nigerians and their artistes especially Burna Boy, claiming they do not help other African musicians on the global stage.

Shatta Wale Disses Ghanaians

In a recent tweet by the Shatta Wale, he called on his Ghanaian compatriots to respect Nigerians and their crafts, noting that they cannot be compared to them. 

Shatta Wale wrote“Please can we just respect Nigerians for their hard work and stop comparing our lazy lifestyle to theirs… It’s shame ppl think Nigerians will come hard at me but see they are the ones doing the streaming cuz they understand what Talent means .. Ghana music is a shame.”

In a follow-up tweet, the 37-year-old pleaded with Nigerians to not get themselves involved in the war of words he is having with his fellow Ghanaians. 

He wrote“So a man can’t talk to some foolish ghana fans in peace, Nigeria pls ano come for una I beg, I am talking to ghana foolish fans association, I will come to you when I have beef over there plssss …let me finish with these fuckers I beg”
