The Spanish player made a total of 668 appearances for Real Madrid. According to Siro Lopez, a Spanish journalist, Ramos rejected a two-year contract extension from Real Madrid.

Ramos earlier rejected a one-year contract extension from Real Madrid before it was changed to two years. The centre back is currently in the injury room. He was recently operated on the knee. He has not played a game since the semi-final Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao.

Reports have it that Madrid will not be making another offer, so Ramos is set to leave the club. Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain are the clubs ready to grab the player.
