Sergio Aguero Not Yet Fit says Head Coach

Sergio Aguero has been out of the game for some time now, and it has been from one injury to another. Recently he tested positive for coronavirus and has been self-inflation observing the Covid-19 protocols.

The player has not played a game since the 3rd of January after testing positive for the virus. The 32-year-old Argentina striker has now returned to City’s training ground, but Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola who lost his mum to the virus said it will be “weeks” before Aguero is match-fit.

According to the coach, he said: “He is still not training on the field.” The manager also said Aguero only started moving on Monday and so will need a few weeks to get himself back to the game.

“The important thing is he is negative, and he can come back to us,” he added. Sergio Aguero suffered a whole lot of injury blows in the 2019/20 season which limited him to make just three starts in all competitions for City
