Senator Buruji Kashamu Dies Of COVID-19

Coronavirus, COVID-19 has taken another big wig in the political circuit in Nigeria in person of Senator Buruji Kashamu.

A former Senator, Ben Murray Bruce made this known in a tweet on Saturday, August 8.

According to the tweet, Kashamu died at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos State.

The tweet reads “I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.”

You will recall that former Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi recently died as a result of complications from COVID-19.
