Former Big Brother Naija housemate, actress and fashion designer, Ifu Ennada has taken to her Instagram page to spit fire in response to how some people on the social media space faulted her over her comments on fraudulent acts.

Earlier, Ifu had advised ladies to leave guys who are into Internet scam, popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo, noting that it is better they do so before they got dragged into the mud by the activities of their boyfriends who are into such act.

She also advised ladies to work hard and make their money instead of relying on proceeds of scam from their boyfriends.

A popular blog posted the advice on Instagram and it generated reactions from many people on the social media platform.

Reacting to some of the comments on the advice she gave earlier, the BBnaija star stated that many people support rubbish in Nigeria adding that such support has kept the country stagnant.

She further shared her experience about when she wanted to register for a course online adding that she was declined because of her Nationality as a Nigerian.

Ifu disclosed that the platform declined the registration because Nigeria was blacklisted on their website due to the high risk of fraudulent acts in Nigeria.

“Recently I was trying to register for a Course online, but even with my extra VPN, they still declined my payment – they figured out my Location/Nationality because of my card/bank.

She continued by saying, most African countries were welcomed on the same platform where she was declined for being a Nigerian.

The actress emphasised that it was imperative for all Nigerians to play their role in redeeming the image of the country instead of blaming fraudulent acts only on corrupt politicians.

“If one tries to speak against Fraud, some Local Fowls will ask you to arrest corrupt politicians first, but they don’t know they all contribute to this problem and those of us who keep quiet play our part in encouraging it indirectly.”

Sighting another instance, Ifu said, there was a time an international website asked her to take a picture of herself with her International passport before she could be allowed to shop on the platform.

According to her, it either Nigerians face the truth and do better or continue to live beneath their potentials as individuals and as a Country.
