Mothers were celebrated in some parts of the world on the 10th of May among which is an awesome tribute to the late mother of Ghanaian singer, Stonebwoy.
Many people around the world used the day to celebrate their mother who brought them to this world. Some who have lost their mother and have missed their impact used the day to pay tribute to them.
Ghanaian pop singer, Livingstone Saketla aka Stonebwoy joined the likes of Davido, Peruzzi and other artists who used the day to remember their mother. The way Stonebwoy celebrated his mother is one of a kind.
Stonebwoy really loves his mother and in 2017, he released an album in her name titled ‘Mama‘. The album features stars like Sean Paul, Burna boy and the likes; it was a tribute to the late Mrs Catherine Saketla.
The ‘lolo‘ crooner on the 10th of May, 2020 then remembered her once again with a statue placed in his living room. The beautifully carved statue is a way of never forgetting the mother when it is Mother’s day or not.
