Kubwa Hiker Dies After Falling from Rock
The Kubwa hiker who died on Saturday morning which has raised lots of questions in the hearts of many people with the Nigerian police Kubwa branch has been investigating the course of the death of the young boy. The Kubwa hiker who died on Saturday is said to be between the age of 15 or 16, he is by name Ransom.
On that unfortunate day, Ransom and his friends went hiking as it is their new hobby since the coronavirus lockdown began. Different people with different motives and objectives all troop to the Arab rock which hikers in Kubwa usually climb on a daily basis but they are always more on Saturdays. The Kubwa Hiker had successfully climbed to the normal point where they always usually reach but on Saturday he decided to aim higher.
Ransome (the victim) and one of his friends according to reports from one of the persons who was present when the incident happened he said Ransom and that his friend argued about climbing to the top of the rock, while the friend said he can not he said can do it, the argument led to betting of money as Ransom said he can climb to the top while the friend said he can not.
To prove to his friend and follow hikers that he can and the quest to win the money set as bet, Ransom started climbing to top of the rock, rain had fell the previous day making the rock to be slippery the Kubwa hiker slipped and fell from that height, he died immediately, he did not win the bet neither did he prove any point at the end, the young hiker lost his life simply because of a bet which can not add anything to his life.
