Naira Marley
Naira Marley and two others were taken in by the Nigerian police for violating the law on lockdown in Lagos state. Charges against them were dropped by the police although Funke Akindele and husband who hosted them have been convicted earlier.
It took a while before Naira Marley reported to the police. When he eventually did alongside former Lagos gubernatorial candidate and wife who attended the party at the Bello’s house, they were left alone. The controversial artist has since used his social media account to comment on the incident.
Naira Marley had to give feedback to his followers who had missed him for the short while away in police custody. He tweeted @officialnairam1: ”Snitches on Twitter will get you arrested and still want you to fight the government for them (laugh emojis) from now on its just Marlians only. Let all listen to the government and give them our full support”
The ‘Tesumole‘ crooner made sure he caused trouble by tweeting these words ”Just to show that I have no problem with anyone that dragged me on Twitter, everybody that dragged me should send their account and I will check your page to check if you dragged me before today before I send your money. All love (love emoji) Thanks”
Those who have been dragging him dropped their accounts and this made him make fun of them.
