Super Eagles of Nigeria new invite Sebastian Osigwe has been confirmed positive for coronavirus. FC Lugano made the news known as they said on their club’s official website on Thursday. The goalkeeper is not the only player in the club who has the virus. Seven other Lugano players also tested positive for coronavirus.
Sebastian Osigwe will now self-isolate for the next ten days. When the ten days is completed another test will be carried out on him to ascertain his state of health.
The club side stated thier website that player along side other players have tested positive for the virus. The management of FC Lugano announces that the tests carried out following the positivity of Mattia Bottani. Also they highlighted the positivity of the Nigerian goalkeeper Osigwe.
The player was named in Nigeria’s squad for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Sierra Leone. The 26-year-old has made four league appearances for Lugano this season.
