A scammer who hacked the Instagram account of the late Nigerian singer Sound Sultan has been exposed.
The late singer’s account was revealed to have been hacked and used for fraudulent activities.
Brother of Sound Sultan, who is also a musician, Dare Fasasi, popularly known as Baba Dee, took to his Instagram page to reveal the scammer’s face.
Baba Dee, who revealed the perpetrator’s name as Victor Majekodunmi, described him as “a young with potential yet so evil and heartless.”
The singer revealed that victor deleted many of his memories and chose to scam people by pretending to be Sound Sultan.
“I’m happy to announce that we have taken control of the account, and he is presently cooling off in police custody,” he wrote.
He also took his time to appreciate everyone who showed concern and helped to nab the “young and hardened criminal.”
“Thanks to my friends at the Nigerian police force, thanks to the Lagos state police commissioner, and special thanks to you, my special police friend, on my page. Good bless you all,” he concluded.
