Nigerian skit maker Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu, also known as Mr Funny or Oga Sabinus, was involved in a car accident after secretly engaging his girlfriend in Lagos.
A video of the comic actor in the Era Ojo area of Lagos surfaced on Sunday, with reports that he was at his girlfriend’s parent’s house to do the engagement rites.
The video showed the 27-year-old comedian entering a compound with his newly acquired Benz GLE 430.
Mr Funny was unaware of an individual filming him kneeling during the engagement rites, as he screamed at the videographer to stop.
The comic actor, who took to his Instagram live to address the news of his accident, stated that he is fine and that a drunk driver drove into his lane to hit his car.
The front bumper of the Benz SUV was damaged, and it was the first time the actor is experiencing such.
