Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has shocked fans with his career-altering move as he reveals he is scared for his life.

In a series of posts, he revealed how much he appreciates his former record label, Jonzing World. He admitted that the label had brought him to the spotlight. Nevertheless, Ruger now reveals why he has backed out from the label.

The “Bounce” singer revealed he would not be could not renew his contract with Jonzing World because the label is unable to push his brand as much as he would like.

He accused his former record label boss, D’Prince, of abandoning him and using his music earnings to hunt for new talents.

Blustering in a series of posts on X on Thursday, Ruger said he has more to say but is scared that he might get stabbed if he disclosed more about the record label.

He wrote, “As much as I’m very appreciative of the fact that Jonzing world introduced me to the world, I just couldn’t continue with them because they got too comfortable with the money they were making from me and couldn’t push me further as I wanted to be pushed. Was supposed to renegotiate the contract but I couldn’t, imagine 5 years more without action”.

He also wrote, “Dey use my money Dey fund new artist, leaving me in the dark, not being transparent. I just laugh. How are we now?”

“Many things to talk but dem fit go wait for me for Ikoyi link bridge stab me woto woto.”, he confessed.
