The Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman is in hospital in his country Amsterdam after being admitted with “chest complaints”.
The 57-year-old former Southampton and Everton boss has undergone a “successful cardiac catheterisation”, according to his management company.
In a statement released by the hospital states that “Ronald will need a few days rest; hopefully, it will be respected by you.” During cardiac catheterisation, a catheter is inserted into a blood vessel and passed up to the heart and coronary arteries.
Ronald Koeman scored 14 goals in 78 appearances for the Netherlands and currently couching the Dutch team; he was given the coaching job in 2018.
