A road crash occurred along the Kubwa Expressway, involving a heavy-duty truck causing severe gridlock that interrupted the free flow of commuters and workers trying to find their ways to the office this morning.
The traffic situation had hundreds of individuals hoping and waiting for the authorities to clear the road to enable easy passage and flow of vehicles to their various destinations.
Everyevery.ng Correspondent gathered this information on Monday in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, while attempting to manoeuvre away through the heavy traffic experienced and witnessed several Vehicle Inspection Officers, VIOs, trying to coordinate the situation and ensure they salvage the incident.
It was noticed that civil servants and other private-sector workers were stranded as there was not enough public transportation to convey a large number of persons present at the car parks.
Meanwhile, at the parts, passengers could be sighted struggling for a single vehicle that showed up regardless of the sudden hike in transportation fare by some drivers taking advantage of the situation.
